  • Pasternack is excited to return as an exhibitor to the International Microwave Symposium / IMS trade show, formerly called MTT-S or the Microwave Theory and Techniques Society trade show, which will be held this year in Denver, CO.

The IEEE MTTS International Microwave Symposium (IMS) is the world’s foremost conference covering the UHF, RF, wireless, microwave, millimeter-wave, terahertz, and optical frequencies, encompassing everything from basic technologies to components to systems including the latest RFIC, MIC, MEMS and filter technologies, advances in CAD, modeling, EM simulation and more. The IMS includes technical and interactive sessions, exhibits, student competitions, panels, workshops, tutorials, and networking events.

The IEEE IMS International microwave symposium tradeshow is the annual gathering place for radio frequency engineers, RF component manufacturers and key industry suppliers to exhibit new technologies and hardware in the wireless RF communications space. The IMS 2022 mission is to facilitate a rich attendee experience by providing a forum for presenting technical papers on state-of-the-art RF and microwave related topics, exhibiting the latest products and technology solutions, and networking with peers and experts.

“New at IMS 2022 will be the Systems Forum.  This will be a three-day forum that will bring together the latest in telecommunications, radar, and space applications.  There will be contributions from IEEE MTT-S Sister Societies, RFIC and ARFTG. We will also be continuing the program where the 50 top-ranked papers, as determined by the Technical Paper Review Committee, will be invited to submit the paper to the IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters (MWCL) for publication.” Said Ron Ginley, IMS 2022 General Chair.

Beyond the formal sessions, IMS continues to reflect how far RF and microwave engineering now reach into everyday applications. Components and techniques once confined to defense radar and satellite uplinks are now embedded in 5G fixed wireless access, automotive sensing systems, IoT mesh networks, telemedicine platforms, and the high-throughput, low-latency video infrastructure that real-time consumer services depend on — including the live-dealer streams behind crypto casinos and other interactive broadcast platforms where any sync drift or jitter is immediately visible to end users. The common thread is the same engineering pressure on display across the IMS show floor: cleaner signals, tighter components, and reliable performance at higher and higher frequencies.

Pasternack invites all attendees to visit our exhibition booth (booth #9014) to learn about the broad selection of RF/microwave products and solutions we offer to equip engineers with the best components for their projects.

As part of our mission to provide the widest and deepest inventory of available products, Pasternack will showcase a range of exciting new products at IMS 2022. These new products include, Waveguide Rotary Joints, Waveguide Pressure Windows, Waveguide Frequency Multipliers, Temperature Compensated Amplifiers, Waveguide Failsafe Electromechanical Relay Switches, 5G Indoor and Outdoor Antennas, Waveguide Gain Horn Antennas, 1.85mm Connectors and Adapters, NMD Adapters, Low PIM Connectors and more!

We look forward to seeing you at the International Microwave Symposium IMS 2022 trade show taking place in Denver Colorado from June 19th – 24th!
